The American College of Surgeons has updated a free, internet-based Risk Calculator which may be used by surgeons and/or patients to determine the risks associated with an anticipated procedure. The calculator, which incorporates data from 3.2 million procedures done between 2011 and 2015, uses 20 patient predictors (e.g. age, ASA class, BMI, HTN) and the planned procedure (CPT code) to predict the chance that patients will have any of the 15 different outcomes within 30-days following surgery.

Having engaged with more than 100 hospitals since 2011, we have developed our proprietary EHCdata database, one of the largest collections of internal facility and provider group data in the country, including precise information on compensation, subsidies, OR efficiency, and much more.
EHCdata is the edge that allows us to better understand how your performance compares nationally, and at the regional and local levels.
